Get to know our Commercial Manager, Niall Shivers:
How long have you worked for Premier Electrics?
I began my career as Student Buyer in 2009 as part of my Higher National Diploma. I then decided to pursue a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Ulster University. I was lucky during difficult times for the Construction Industry that McLaughlin and Harvey offered me a full-time position in 2012. I spent 6 fantastic years with McLaughlin and Harvey before eventually joining Premier Electrics. On 16th February 2024, I will have been with Premier Electrics 7 years. I have been fortunate to have had great mentors throughout my entire professional career.
What is your current role at Premier Electrics?
I am Commercial Manager at Premier Electrics, working as part of a great team we are responsible for providing Commercial Assurance for the Business across our wide-ranging portfolio of Projects in UK & Europe.
What’s the best thing about working at Premier Electrics?

What do you do in your spare time outside of work?
I am lucky that I call Portstewart home these days so there is a world of activities on our doorstep. My Wife and 2 girls are good at filling the weekend calendar between trips to the parks, coffee shops, or the beach. (They will argue that my protected time is usually on a Saturday morning where I try and get out for a round of Golf!)
