How long have you worked for Premier Electrics?

I have worked for Premier Electrics for just over a year. I started during the summer 2023 after finishing my A-levels and have now commenced my engineering course with Premier Electrics, starting with a foundation year which allows me to progress into my next year which is Electrical Engineering. 

What is your current role at Premier Electrics?

My current role within Premier Electrics is as an Apprentice Designer. Within my role, I use AutoCAD software to assist the Design Engineers with their designs. Also, I am involved in producing our Operation and Technical submittals.

What’s the best thing about working at Premier Electrics?

The best thing about working with Premier Electrics is my colleagues. I’m surrounded by smart, funny individuals who are very supportive and make work feel like a second family. As an apprentice, I am being mentored by senior engineers who are teaching me how to produce compliant designs. 

What do you do in your spare time outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending my weekends socialising and engaging in various activities with my friends. Whether it's playing football, camping, hiking, or simply relaxing at home and playing video games.
