Walking Month
On National Walking Month, we encourage our people to get their steps up, and go out for a walk whenever possible!
It has been great to see our lunchtime walking and running groups grow in popularity at the office.
Walking enhances circulation, increases oxygen delivery to tissues, and helps maintain flexible, healthy arteries.
Just 20–30 minutes of brisk walking per day lowers blood pressure, and improves cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and hypertension by up to 30%.
