With over 30 years’ experience, a prestigious client base, a strong order book, and a well-earned reputation for delivering excellent electrical installations we now wish to recruit additional Site Managers to develop their career with Premier Electrics.

Role as an Inspection & Testing Engineer

As an Inspection & Testing Engineer you will be part of the team that ensures all works under your remit have been installed to, and, satisfies the requirements of all relevant standards and regulations, ensuring that all work carried out on site is conducted in line with company and legal requirements of Health and Safety, and to strict company quality standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring collated inspection & test results are satisfactory and in line with BS7671, and other appropriate standards/regulations and that everything is recorded professionally on the appropriate certificates or other documents as required.

Requirements

Applicants must possess the following competences:

  • City & Guilds 2357 NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition IET Regulations BS7671.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
  • Inspection & Testing experience, covering various projects.
  • Computer literate.
  • Reliable, flexible, able to take responsibility and to act on one’s own initiative.
  • Attention to detail, able to identify risks and to solve problems.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels as part of a team.
  • Organised and able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment to exacting deadlines.
  • Hold a current Driving Licence and be willing to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe and to work additional hours when needed.
