Get to know our Design Manager; Paul Bateson.
How long have you worked in Premier Electrics?
After graduating from Ulster University in 2006, I joined a building services engineering consultancy. I worked on various projects during that period in retail, commercial, residential, healthcare & public realm sectors. I joined Premier Electrics back in 2011 as a design engineer and have progressed my career over the past 13 years.
What is your current role at Premier Electrics?
I am now the Design Manager at Premier Electrics, I manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians providing our clients with reassurance that their electrical installations are compliant with all current standards and legislation.
What’s the best thing about working at Premier Electrics?
The work environment and the amazing team of people around you making you feel welcomed and valued. The many social activities the company takes part in including family fun days, mud runs, charity events and the annual donkey derby.
What do you do in you spare time outside of work?
Being an electrical and electronic engineer, I do what engineers do best… be a nerd. However, when I’m not tinkering at computers, I enjoy travelling with my wife, reading, eating out, keeping fit, [beating Niall Shivers at company golf days…😉] and I can’t forget playing handball.
